Being so experienced in travel, Jerry Simonelli has come up with a list of some expert traveling tips to make for a stress-free and smooth experience.
- Patience is a virtue. While this is true for all aspects of life, it is even more important to remember while traveling. Things can and will go wrong, and it is best to approach situations with a positive and patient outlook. Who knows, maybe it can result in a totally unexpected and unique experience!
- Always bring extra cash. While credit cards are handy, a lot can go wrong with them, some banks have added security to approve transactions originating in another country. Keep extra cash on you, and make sure to keep it hidden; somewhere like a sock or under a shoe liner.
- Meet the locals. Don't just stay at your resort with other tourists. Make it a point to get out there and meet the local people. Befriend a local and they may take you to some secret spots for an amazing experience.
- Be a people-watcher. Take some time to relax on a park bench and just observe people going about their daily lives. It's a truly enlightening experience, and gives you a glimpse into the true culture of other countries.
